Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 30, 2026
Who we are: Socket Health LLC ("Elite Edge", "we", "us")
Contact: info@socket.health

This policy explains what information the Elite Edge app collects, why, where it is stored, who can see it, and how you can delete it. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed. If anything is unclear, email us.

1. Who can use Elite Edge

Elite Edge is for athletes 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to create an account, and the app asks for your date of birth before an account can be created so that we can enforce this. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we delete the account and its data. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email info@socket.health and we will remove it.

If you are between 13 and 17, please make sure a parent or guardian knows you are using the app and is comfortable with it.

2. What we collect

We collect only what the app needs to work. There are no ads in Elite Edge, no advertising identifiers, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

3. Why we use it

Information Used to
Name, email, password Create and secure your account, sign you in, send account emails (confirmation, password reset)
Date of birth Confirm you are 13 or older
Training and wellness entries Show your progress, fill your ring, calculate readiness, recommend what to do next. All recommendations are generated by fixed rules inside the app, not by an AI model
Teams and messages Let you train and communicate with your own team
EP, rank, streak Show your standing on your team's leaderboard
Crash reports Find and fix bugs
Support messages Answer you

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or automated decisions that have legal effects on you.

4. What other people can see

Your teammates and coach can see: your display name, profile photo, EP, rank, streak, messages you send to the team or to them, and your practice RSVPs.

Your teammates and coach cannot see: your readiness, recovery status, pain or injury information, date of birth, email address, or session notes. Health information you enter is private to you and never appears on a leaderboard, roster, or to a coach.

Direct messages are only possible between members of the same team. There is no public directory and no way for a stranger to contact you through the app.

Nobody outside your team can see anything about you.

5. Where your information is stored

Elite Edge stores your account, training and team information with Supabase, a hosted database provider, in the Canada (Central) region. Supabase acts as our data processor and stores data on infrastructure provided by Amazon Web Services. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access inside the database is restricted by row-level security rules so that each user can only read their own private information and their own teams' shared information.

Photos you upload are stored in private storage with the same provider and are served to your team through short-lived links.

A copy of your most recent training data is also kept on your phone so the app works when you are offline.

6. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the app, and only what they need:

Provider What Why
Supabase Account, training, team and message data; uploaded photos Database, authentication, storage and live chat
Our email delivery provider Your email address and the account email being sent Sending confirmation and password reset emails
Sentry (if enabled) Crash reports without personal identifiers Finding bugs
Apple App distribution; if paid plans are added later, purchase processing The App Store

Each provider is bound by contract to use the information only to provide its service to us. We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, schools, clubs or recruiters.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect someone's safety, or to enforce our Terms of Use, and we will limit that disclosure to what is required.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account (see section 8), your information is deleted immediately from the live database and removed from backups within 30 days. Crash reports are retained by our crash reporting provider for 90 days. Support emails are kept for one year.

If an account has not been signed into for 24 months we may delete it after emailing you a notice.

8. Your choices and rights

Delete your account. In the app: Settings (tap your avatar on the Home screen) → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, your training and wellness data, your messages, your photos and your team memberships. It cannot be undone. You can also email info@socket.health and we will delete it for you.

Access or correct your information. Most of it is visible and editable in the app. For a full copy of the information we hold about you, email info@socket.health and we will provide it within 30 days.

Leave a team. Squad → team settings → Leave team. Your messages in that team are removed.

Block someone. Squad → tap a roster member → Block. They can no longer message you and their messages are hidden from you.

Report a message or user. Long-press any message → Report. We review reports within 24 hours.

Withdraw the optional guardian email. Edit or clear it in Settings at any time.

If you live in California, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another place with a privacy law that gives you additional rights (such as the right to object to processing or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority), you can exercise those rights by emailing info@socket.health. We will not treat you differently for doing so. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, hashed passwords, row-level access rules in the database, private photo storage, and restricted administrative access. No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will notify you by email as required by law.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will show a notice in the app and update the effective date above. Continuing to use the app after the change means you accept the updated policy.
